Pokemon Platinum ROM is playable on Android, Windows, iPhone, and Mac with NDS emulators. Pokemon Platinum Version is a video game for the Nintendo DS and the third installment in the Diamond and Pearl series. Like its predecessors, it is a role-playing game with adventure and battling elements. The game was released in Japan on September 13, 2008, in North America on March 22, 2009, and in Europe on May 22, 2009.
The storyline of Platinum is largely the same as Diamond and Pearl. However, it features GiratinaOrigin Forme as the mascot instead of Dialga or Palkia. Some other changes include added scenes and dialogues, different starter Pokémon for players beginning their journey (Turtwig for those who have Diamond or Pearl versions save data on their Nintendo DS systems), altered Gyms and leaders, an expanded Battle Frontier, new areas such as Mt.
